HELPFUL INFORMATION
Choose Earthed chargers for a simple, more cost-effective installation.
You can choose between a universal socket so that any can can plug into the EV charger, or a Tethered cable option (where the cable is permanently attached).
Although a standard single-phase 13 amp three-pin domestic socket is adequate for home charging, a dedicated EV unit should be installed. We will conduct a house survey to ensure that the wiring will safety support the relatively long periods of charging.
If a main fuse upgrade is required at the property, we can help arrange this with your local DNO.
WORKPLACE CHARGING
7kW to 22kW Workplace chargers are available for business users and provide a faster charge for longer distance commuters.
Business Owners can make large savings on the cost of installing EV stations through the Workplace Charging Scheme. The scheme offers a 75% reduction in the cost of purchasing and installing a new workplace charging station. This is capped at £350 per unit and a maximum of 40 charging stations applies.
