CUT OUT INSPECTIONS
At SocialCru, we are supporting the electricity network 'SP Energy Networks' in Central and Southern Scotland, Merseyside, Cheshire, and North Shropshire. No matter who you pay your electricity bill to, there is a network that manages your incoming supply. The network will help if you need a new or upgraded power connection or any associated issues.
Cut Out Inspection program in your area
SP Energy Networks have established a routine inspection programme across our electricity network to inspect the condition of a piece of equipment called a ‘cut out’.
What to expect
A Cut Out Inspection is free of charge and shouldn’t take any longer than 15 minutes to complete. You will receive a letter to explain when the SocialCru team will be in your area and you can also contact us directly to arrange an appointment -

Following the Cut Out Inspection, our service partner who will carry out any required work, will contact you to survey your property and discuss the upgrade process with you.
Good to know
All our engineers are fully trained and can offer advice and contact details should you need them. Our Cut Out Inspector engineers carry identity cards with their company name, their own name, and a colour photograph. Our vans will also have the Network operator or service partner logo. Any employee making a call to your home will be happy to explain why they are visiting.
